can you use pyrodex pellets in all inline muzzleloaders?

subject says it all? i have an inline and would like to know if i can use pellets in it

Yes. I should pick up a copy of the revised Lyman Blackpowder Handbook. The original is good and this new one is suppose to be better.

You should use at least a musket cap and preferably a 209 primer as the ignition system. Ignition with a#11 cap would be spotty at best. BTW, can someone tell me why Pyrodex pellets are more convenient than a speedloader? They cost about 2-3x as much in my area, so I was wondering what the big deal was.....
