10 Gauge Semiautos

Anybody have a Browning Gold Semiauto in 10 Gauge? Question: What's the magazine tube capacity?

I saw a Remington semiauto, synthetic, camo finish with firesights in a local gunshop. Really cool, limited only by its 2+1 capacity. (Fine for hunting, but I don't hunt, I want a fun gun).

So, anybody have either of these? How's the recoil of these gas 10 gauges compared to a pump 12ga?

The Browning Semi 10ga will hold 5 rounds. Check out a recent thread on Shotgun Sports:

I don't think any 10ga is going to be a "fun gun"---it's going to be big---heavy---and kick like a mule. And the ammo is going to be expensive. It would be good in the goose blind or taking turkeys-----but a fun gun---no.

The Mag 10 I've fired a few times with goose loads kicked less(felt recoil) than Frankenstein with same. The thing weighs 10 lbs, tho. That walk across the bog with it reminded me of trying to run in the rain with an M-60.

Since I'm not in a socio-economic class where I can comfortably afford a Sherpa to tote it around for me, I'll stick to 12s.

And, other than long range pass shooting, there's not much this beast will do better than a smaller gauge.
