light on an Ithaca?

I have an Ithaca 37 I use for duck and goose hunting. Recently I bought a short "riot" barrel so I could adapt it for home defense. Is is possible to put a light on it? There 's no base or mount or anything, of course. Does Surefire or someone make a light that will just mount onto the barrel and not be destroyed by the recoil?
