Favorite recipe for cleanliness!

I am looking for a CLEAN recipe for .45ACP to use FMJ 230 grainers!

Any suggestions?

I have tons of once fired, commercial ACP brass.

Got me on posts!

I use 231 and AA2 for 230 hardball and both are reasonably clean. If I want raw accuracy, I go for bullseye (but I have to clean more).
10mm and 357sig, the best things to come along since the 38 super!

Nothing burns cleaner than Vihtavuori powder. Low flash, good velocity but a bit more expensive than other popular powders.

You may not be getting what you think.

Having spoken with a powder company chemist, you clean freaks may be getting something you don't want. That being faster wear.

It seems that most of the "dirt" that you are complaining about consists of graphite which was included in the powder as a retardant. While other retardants can be included in the mix instead of graphite, graphite has the benefit of making the residue a lubricant. Other retardants do not.

Therefore, what you may be getting is a cleaner gun that wears out faster.
