1911 Grips
I'm looking for government size 1911 grips, double diamond, or checkered wood, not too particular on what kind of wood, but I'd like to have either Marine Corps medallions, or the Vietnam service ribbon medallions like the ones in American Rifleman's March catalog, any idea where I could get either set? Thanks for any responses.

Maybe get some of these medallions and have a smith inset them in some wood grips of your choice?
http://www.tombstonegrips.com/mm5/me...ode=Medallions Ahrends makes some nice grips. I like the Combat Checkered Cocobolo. http://www.ahrendsgripsusa.com |

Try [email protected]
He does excellent work, and can laser-engrave most emblems. |

Checkout the Marine Corps grips from Altamont.

Look on EBay as well. Many variants of those are there.
