80% poly lowers

hey guys, i am aout to click the buy button on an 80% poly lower, before i do, i thought i would check with the forum to see if anyone has done it themselves

let me say firsthand, have no quams with poly lowers, i have 2 ars w/poly lowers and both have performed w/o remarkable issues

i dont feel the drilling process will be too much trouble, but has anyone had probs getting proper fit with the triigger parts afterwards? i would like to diy for 3 reasons, 1:cost(yeah, i know, only about 25$ dif) 2:lightweight 3: i am builing this into an ar pistol, so i need not worry about what and who the lower was manufactued for -------------- and 4: cuz you never know

looking at

i love the 2nd cuz it has obama holding a dremel
i have actually found a couple of feedbackks on this last one
My head is bloody, but unbowed

Not worth the hassle for $25.
Here's my thoughts: If you(or any one) think you're bypassing BATFE by milling your own, you're wrong. If you've purchased a firearm of any sort through a dealer within the last couple of decades, you're on a "list". If "they" want to stick you for something, "they" can find it somewhere else. Stripped AR lowers are logged out as "other" and can be assembled however you wish-rifle or pistol w/o further controls.
