Still as reliable

I meant to post this in the semi-auto forum. I don't know how it ended up in the general handgun forum. I'm not sure how to correct it.

I have heard some complaints about some of the newer guns that used to set the standard for reliability. My question is: Do you think these two guns are still top of the line and/or as good as their reputation? Glock 19 (Gen4) and Sig 226 (current, non-German made).

Re: Still as reliable

Yes they are as good as their reputations. I wouldn't bet against either in a reliability test.

I consider them to be two of the most reliable pistols ever made. I personanlly own two SIG-Sauers, P226 and P239, and four Glocks, 17,20,21,22.

I carry the SIGS, mostly the 226, but I would trust any of them.

Since you have the same topic in another thread you started, there is no point in moving it, I'll close it.
