range report!

Took my new Remington adl 30-06 to the range. The load is 57.5 grains h4350 with a magnum CCI primer and winchester case.

Will post pics tomorrow. But groups three rounds into a little under half an inch. I was really surprised now I got to buy a chrono and see what they are doing.

Sounds nice but you should be shooting and measuring at least 5 rnd groups, if not more.
Three round groups won't tell you ALL the truth. but I'm not suprised about that loading and that rifle it'll probably do it evry shot.

Where are you? Maybe we can split the cost of a Oehler 35P.

Did another test three five round groups. Most are hanging right around one inch but my three shot groups are under half

barrel warms up// exactly

I understand. I am willing to bet if I made all five from a cold bore it would be better. Also I was shooting off a good rest but on a wobbly table. Either way I will take roughly 1 moa all day long.

Besides the only time I fire more than one or two rounds at a time is at the range. When hunting have never had to fire more than once. I take that back. I shot a doe second time with my bow because I spine shot her and she was not dead so I put one in the lungs to expedite the process.

By the way I am from pa so I can't split cost ofchrono cause I bought one this morning.
