Colt M4 pre panic price?
Hey All,
So how much would this go for pre panic? Gorgeous NEW IN BOX COLT LE6920 M4 CARBINE. COLTS, LIGHTWEIGHT LAW ENFORCEMENT STAMPED M4 PLATFORM. REMOVABLE CARRY HANDLE, SWIVEL SLING PINS. ROGERS ADJUSTABLE DUEL LOCKING "SUPER STOC", AND FIXED FRONT SIGHTS. COMES WITH TWO COLT HI CAPACITY MAGS (20 ROUNDS), CARRY SLING, AND CLEANING KIT. 223 or 55.6 cal never fired! My Dad has wanted to sell a four wheeler and this guy may be open to a trade. My Dad wanted to know if this would be worth it based on pre panic prices. Luckily he got a DPMS in late Oct so this would just be a second for him and he doesn't want to pay/trade panic prices. |

Well, when I bought mine (SP6920) last year it was $995 and the LE6920's were $999.

My opinion:
Keep the Colt. Trade the DPMS. |

Another thing to keep in mind is that the Colt will likely keep its value or even appreciate eventually, but the ATV will only depreciate. |

But, all other things considered, I don't see prices ever returning to a point lower than the pre-panic level, and the reality is that everything is going to cost a bit more than it did, even when sanity is restored. |

This legislation threat is not going to be "dealt with" until there is a president and two houses of Congress in office who respect the Bill of Rights. Ortherwise, this same pointless legislation is going to be introduced over and over. |

It won't end even then, just go on a temporary hiatus, because the POTUUS and the rest are always in flux.

If you offered him $1000 credit towards the ATV that would be fair. Around here 4wheelers hold their value pretty well too. Especially if they are a 4x4 model. Have him give you the AR + Cash to buy the ATV.
