A Good Time Shooting

It was beautiful on Sunday. The temperature was in the high sixties, the sun was shining and the ground was dry.

I gathered up a bunch of empty soda cans, a lever action 22 and the book I was reading and went out back. I filled the cans out of the pond and set them up on the bank about 50 yards from the chair I was going to use to sit and read.

I spent the next two hours reading with the occasional pause to shoot at a can from various positions. Reading, shooting and enjoying the good weather. I loved it.
