marlin single shot?

i was just on gun broker and saw a marlin model 200 single shot, it has the box and apears new. did or does marlin make a single shot?, it looks just like a h&r or nef. thanks

Looks like a totally new model that Marlin is marketing trying to generate some money. It is not even listed on the Marlin web site.

Seems like cerberus has sucked out all the money from the Freedom Group and now wants to dump it!

To me that's a new twist on gun control, if you can't regulate the guns, put the company's out of business. Everyone knew cerberus is antigun, this just proves it.

I've been told they were a limited run for K-Mart - an H&R Topper marked Marlin. Marlin bought H&R in 2000.

They're just investors first, and not gun people. That doesn't make them anti-gun.
