Shoulder holster suggestions

I'd like a shoulder for my 6" GP 100. It will be worn around the property or hiking. Suggestions?

The GP100 is a stout gun with some pretty decent heft to it. Since this is not a concealment issue I would take a look at the chest harness type set up Rob Leahy at Simply Rugged offers. I forget the model designation.

I like the bandelero style holsters. They are more a cross draw than a true shoulder holster. For me they are easier to access, don't get in the way when crawling through brush.

Avoid the styles which have the but down and muzzle up. I have seen to many self inflected wounds when drawing.

I had a Galco VHS shoulder system for my GP 100. The vertical style holster made carrying the weapon effortless. The prices have certainly shot up since I last looked so it really depends how much you wish to pay.
