Over priced 5.56.

I just found a guy selling 300 rd green bags of surplus ball m1a4 5.56 for $400. It was in the classifieds in a local car forum, but still out of this world to me.

I luaghed.

I just wanted to share. Anyone else run into some crazy price gouging? Share what you found with us.

HA. That's ridiculous.
I just bought a $60 pmag...but it was the noveske edition.

My LGS has a promag 7.62x39 with a $4 10 round limiter and some epoxy for $50. A unconverted Saiga 7.62 for $995.

Mike Irwin has started a thread in the General Discussion forum titled The "Where is everything?" thread -- guns, ammo, primers, powder, etc... That's the one, central thread where discussions of the price and availability of these things should now be taking place. Feel free to continue the conversation there. (And do read Mike's opening post, which spells out the "rules of the game.")
Never let anything mechanical know you're in a hurry.
