Secret Service scopes

Show on TV the other night about the Secret Service.
Several shots of the sniper guys with their rifles showed what appeared to be Leupold scopes with the gold rings.
Seems like a great endorsement if that is what they choose to use. A gub'mnt group like that can afford anything they want.

I highly doubt what they showed on camera was what they actually use in service.

They may be Leupold, but I would not make the assumption that they are anything you can buy online or at the LGS...
Certainly could be, as the military certainly does use Leupold optics, like the
MK IV LR/T used in the M24 sniper system.
