Current wait times?
After a 5 year hiatus since my previous 03 was up, I just sent my app in today. Anybody know what current processing times are running these days?

Two months is what I'm hearing, renew are about 30 days. I just renewed and it took 26 days, with the xmas holiday in the mix.

It took just 3 weeks to get my renewal back. I was really surprised. One thing I notice though, they don't explain that in the past you were NOT supposed to sign the original so that you could send a signed copy when you needed it. I am assuming that is the same policy? I am treating it the same as my original. Also does anyone cut out that pocket/billfold insert they included with the renewal? Not sure I would ever need that if I were buying in person? Any explanations?

Address changes are slow at the moment - mine took over 2 months.

Did a change of address a few months ago, only took about 4 weeks.
Response time for new licenses seems to be all over the place, from 3 weeks to 3 months. Most seem to fall at the short end, from what I keep hearing. |
