Question re: Spitfire sub-guns....

I'm hoping some of you Spitfire / Eagle gurus out there can help me with a couple of questions:

1. I recently saw where a Spitfire owner modernized this sub-gun. It was a heck of a project, but looked really nice. I can't remember where on the web I saw this - does anyone remember seeing this?

2. What is the registered part of a Spitfire / Eagle? Is is the the upper receiver? Trigger housing? or both? Reason I ask is because if it is only the steel upper receiver, these things might be real sleepers if the lowers can be replaced or re-fabricated.
