Marlin Camp Rifle 9mm magazine

My son has a Marlin Camp Rifle in 9mm. It is a fine little carbine and a joy to shoot.

I know that it's magazine is compatible with a S&W Pistol. I believe that it was the S&W 39.

He wants to obtain a Pistol which uses the same mag as his Camp 9. Are there any current manufactured pistols which use the same magazine?

None current are produced but you are looking for the 59xx series guns. There are millions of them around. Lots and Lots of police trade ins.

the S&W 5906 and 915 use the same mags, and those mags will work in a CAMP 9.

HOWEVER, an original camp 9 magazine will not work in those pistols since it is just a little too short.

Keltec currently makes the P11 which uses S&W 59 series mags too. The camp 9 mags fit in the P11.

CDNN Investments is selling used 5906 police trade ins for 299.99. If I needed one, I would get in on that. Buyers have been reporting they are in fair shape.
