What Optic or sight would you reccomend for my BM M4A3?

Just bought a Bushmaster M4A3 and I am looking to put an optic on it. I am a relatively new shooter and only shoot for sport at this point. (Though I put in a lot of range time with my pistols to work on getting to a competitive level.) I enjoy quick target location but also do alot of desert shooting so it would be nice to have some accuracy at a distance too. I don't want to break the bank and do not know where to begin or what any of the specs mean?? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Hundreds of years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... But the world may be different because I did something so bafflingly crazy that my ruins become a tourist attraction.

For CQB or anything under 100 yards, an EoTech really works well. Targets out at 100-300 yards is where a ACOG shines (was never a fan of Aimpoints).

List your budget, range, and what size targets you expect to shoot at. That will help us make recommendations.

I just bought a Nikon M223 2-8x32 that I find very nice.

I'm personally a fan of the Trijicon Reflex. Mostly because it's light weight and I never have to worry about batteries.

Thank you for the suggestions. I went with an Eotech 512. I am looking into getting magnifier for it...but for now I am pleased. Thanks again
