New (to me) AR-15 in 6.8SPC!

6.8SPC, JD Machine Lower, BCM upper, Carbine length barrel (16in), Vltor BMC gunfighter charge handle, Sig 6 position stock, DSC one piece scope mount, Vortex 3X9X40 scope, Vortex flash hider, Magpul BAD lever, Hogue grip. Also got 4 mags 1-10rd, 2-17rd, 1-30rd. Oh, AND 100rds of ammo!

Traded a Kimber 1911 SS TLE RLII and 100rds of .45 for it. After getting a HK45compact never really used/needed the 1911 so traded it. I'll miss the 1911 but the AR is so fun to shoot!

Lovin the 6.8SPC also, can REALLY reach out there! The coyotes better watch out now!

Very nice! You take it to the range yet?
Good equipment will never be a substitute for good training.

You aren't going to SHOOT that pretty thing, are you?

Let us know how you like that 6.8SPC. I think it is such a great concept -- all that capability squeezed into that little cartridge. You took a great leap in going for that upper!

I love my 6.8spc.... Ive even contumplated ridding myself of my 223 bolt and barrel. Ive worked up a 90 grain load that shoots 3/4" groyps and a 110 grain group that will shoot to the same point of aim as the 90 grainers. I love the little cartridge. Make sure to post a range report.

Sure you will enjoy. It's been said that the 17 round mags may show signs of feeding issues.
