LiL Gun and 44 mag?

I was wondering if any body uses LiL Gun in 44mag loads, if so what are
your thoughts about it.

I would like to try some in my 44 mag rifle, but thought I would get some of
your opinions before I buy some.

I use

Power Pistol

in my 44 Magnum ammo.

I have tried other powders.

I used it. It gave the highest velocities. But it was one of the powders that eroded the top strap on my revolver, so I don't use it anymore. I would best describe it as H110 with a little more nitro.

I have experimented with LIL'GUN vs H110/W296 in 357 mag 158 gr and I think it much like 44 mag 240 gr.

I found that it did not make much difference, but I liked the smell of burning H110 better than LIL'GUN.

It may be that I have been conditioned that H110 smells good by my 44mag, but it might also generally smell better.
The word 'forum" does not mean "not criticizing books."
"Ad hominem fallacy" is not the same as point by point criticism of books. If you bought the book, and believe it all, it may FEEL like an ad hominem attack, but you might strive to accept other points of view may exist.
Are we a nation of competing ideas, or a nation of forced conformity of thought?

I used Lil' Gun in magnum handgun calibers for a while till the reports of premature forcing cone issues from it's use came up. It never lived up to it's hype as per velocities and accuracy for me in my guns, so I went back to H110/W296. I still use it in my handgun caliber carbines tho.......just to try and use the last of it up.

I have tried about every powder I could find in most of my handgun calibers. Unique is my favorite "All Around" handgun powder but specificaly for a .44 Magnum load I like IMR 4227. I use 240 grain cast SWC bullets and 22.2 grains of 4227.
To say that guns kill people is to say that automobiles drive drunk and matches commit arson....
