I've been quite impressed with the results of these instructions from Burwell on the M&P trigger. No need for any aftermarkets parts.
Hardships are quickly forgotten. Intense heat, bitter cold, rain and snow, fatigue, and luckless hunting fade quickly into memories of great fellowship, thoughts of beautiful country, pleasant camps, and happy campfires.

That's the hot set-up for the M&P in my 'circle', too.

I used the Burwell treatment on my M&P9C and installed Apex parts in a M&P 40. The Burwell treatment when done properly give a very smooth & crisp trigger pull. If you don't have the proper files & stones the Apex polished tactical sear will give you a smooth 4# trigger pull with reduced reset.
