Armalite is the standard for what? Most would argue that Noveske is the gold standard AR
How would you rate the Armalite AR-10 versus a LMT MWS? |

AR15/AR10=ArmaLite or Noveske. The only difference I see between ArmaLite and Noveske is the barrel.

I found this info online, I unfortunatly don't have a link to the source.
Some interesting info : Most all lowers, excluding billet ones, are made by a handful of companies and then the selling "manufacturer" cleans them up, stamps their logo on, and does the finish. here's a list of most of the manufacturer(s). Granted, the finish out and QC processes by the company that stamps their name on the side does vary: Lewis Machine & Tool LMT Lauer DS Arms PWA Eagle Armalite Knights Armament Barrett Continental Machine Tool Stag Rock River Arms High Standard Noveske Century (New) Global Tactical CLE S&W MGI Wilson Tactical Grenadier Precision Colt LAR Manufacturing LAR Bushmaster Ameetec DPMS CMMG Double Star Fulton Armory Spike's Tactical JVP Double Star LRB Mega Machine Shop Mega GSE Dalphon POF Alexander Arms Olympic Olympic SGW Tromix Palmetto Dalphon Frankford Century (Old) Sun Devil Sun Devil billet receivers Superior Superior Arms |

My brother is on SWAT for a large city. He has a customized Armalite AR-15. I am saving up for an AR-15 and was wondering about the PWS 5.56 Diablo/MK110. How does the Primary Weapon System compare?

Colt is the only manufacture that should have votes on that poll. RT and TriggerJunky have it down right. All the companies they listed are top notch and make excellent rifles that aren't even comparable to Dpms or bushmaster.

I have owned a Colt HBar II for 11 years. I shot over 10,000 rounds through it's original upper before I sold it to a friend who was building an AR. I kept the lower and put a RRA Entry Tac upper on it. I am happy with it, even though it has that stupid grenade launcher notch.
I have owned 2 RRA rifles and a Wilson Combat carbine as well. The RRAs function fine and shoot well but the fit and finish doesn't seem to be as good as my Colt. The Wilson had a permanently attached muzzle break because it was a AWB gun. I got rid of it when the ban ended.

I voted Colt since it is the best in your poll but would have chosen BCM if you had it.
Hey how come you didn't have my FrankenAR listed... it's S&W (lower receiver), Del-Ton (LPK), BCM (receiver extension/M4 stock), ArmaLite (upper receiver), Wilson (barrel), Daniel Defense (BCG), Bushmaster (various parts), Colt/Cardinal Forge (carry handle), Colt/Anchor Harvey (cut carry handle), YHM (risers), Bushnell (RDS), MagPull (magazine), Marlin (scope), H&K (magazine) and CQB Solutions (sling)! |

The difference b/t armalite and noveske is: the barrel steel, twist, chrome lining MPI and HPT testing, M16 bolt carrier, MPI bolt, HPT bolt, F marked FSB, Buffer weight, and probably more.

To be honest, a complete AR? I build the best one. And you should too. If you get what I mean. I know the builders get it.

how is the colt better then rra, armalite or bushmaster, ive shot all three and rra and armalite were nicer in my opinion but it dominated the poll? and the reason the others arnt on the poll is the price, i shldve put best under $1300 but seriousley ,is the pony emblem worth that much and in which ones have the best resale?

My personal experience with issued M4s and 16s obviously doesn't have **** on this chart which is the definitive authority on the performance of various AR-15s.

Yes everyone that was ever issued an AR platform is an expert on the matter.
I voted for Colt, I sold my Colt, and my Stag shoots just as nice for half the money. Noveske and LMT BCM are better, but for the poll I would say Colt, for me, my Stag has been awesome. I don't crawl through mud with mine, or do water bound assaults, so my Stag works just fine for me. I trust my life to it in the conditions I would need to use it, and it always performs great when I take it out to shoot. I got my stag used off here by another member. Used the money from my colt for a different gun, and have been slowly tinkering and replacing parts on the Stag when I get extra time and money.... which is just as much fun as shooting the thing. An AR is an adult erector set, build your own, so you can't complain that said brand is bad, you put the labor in, you only have yourself to blame. |

There is objective proof that Colt makes the best gun on this list. Use your googlefu. Good grief.
