AR-15 parts

I am currently in the process of building an AR-15. I live in chattanooga TN, and have been able to get all the parts for the lower in town, and have recently put them together. I am in need of an upper, I am wanting to buy a complete upper that comes with the barrel, and bolt and carrier. Does anyone know where I can find a complete upper for around $400? I am looking at spending that but anything around 300 to 350 would be great. I am new here I joined to see if anyone could help me out. If you know of any websites with them for cheap please send the link to me. I would prefer to buy locally but there are no gun shows until september, and I do not want to wait that long to fire this gun. If you know anywhere that I can find them let me know.
thanks
~Reese

A complete upper with bolt carrier MIGHT be found for $350 but I doubt it. You can check here in our classified section under FS Holsters and Accessories.

The M4 has 2 diffeernt chambers. You can have an M4 profile barrel with a regular feed ramp. Or you can have an M4 with an M4 feedramp. All will work on AR15's.

ar upper

A friend and I snagged a 16" flattop upper with bcg for $335 from these folks,(www.jsesurplus.com). Shipped fast ,looked really good and have both shot without a hiccup thus far.

There was a complete A1 upper on here for $375 last week.

Things to look/ask for:

Is it chrome lined (worth about $50 extra when new)
Barrel twist (1:9 is good, study up on it if you don't know why it's important)
Does it have sights (more an issue for M4 types, but plan on spending another $50 for a carry handle or BUIS if not)
