Article on Single Action Revolver Class at Gunsite

Denny,

I just read the new issue of SWAT and this article in particular and enjoyed it very much. I am curious about a couple things:

1. The instructor Larry's picture shows the up thumb position of the support hand as discussed in the article. It also shows the support index finger in front of the trigger guard. Is that what they recommend? It works; I just tried it.

2. Did you or others have difficultly using and/or transitioning with two different grip methods dependant on whether one or both hands were used?

Not only did I like the article, I like the fact you go outside the box on subject matter.

Thanks.

Yes, that's the grip technique we were shown for a SA revolver. It took a bit of getting used to, but we performed enough repetitions that it soon became second nature.

Thanks for the kind words.
