In many of our forums we have talked about how knowledge of firearms can be a deterrent to crime. Here's one that is so stupid we need to give this guy a MMM award!
High Point (AP) -- A man brandished a bullet at a discount department store and then ran off with the manager's keys and some money.
Shortly after a Big Lots store opened, a man walked in and asked to speak to the manager. "He showed (the manager) a bullet and said unless he wanted to die today, he'd better give him the money," said Capt. Derek Stafford of the High Point Police Department. Stafford said the man locked the manager and an assistant manager in the office, cut several phone lines and ran out of the store with the manager's keys and an unspecified amount of money. Employees were unaware a robbery had occurred, but Stafford said the manager was able to call the police from inside the locked office.
?????????????????????????????????????????????? Time to do a little herd thinning! Too bad this chuckle head didn't try this at a gunstore! My wife said maybe it was a really big bullet! Obviously High Point has a no hand gun ban so the guy is trying alternative weapons. Next week Jello! Hope you guys and gals laugh as much as I did!

Store manager over qualified to be a politician. Course he may have been a werewolf and the bullet was silvery.

I'm not suprised. When I was in 8th grade my school bus was taken over by a bully.I say taken over because every day it was the same story. Beat the snot of someone then threaten the rest. One day I got enough, I had a shotgun shell in my backpack(that wouldn't happen now). I pulled it out and told him if he came near me that I was going to thump the end of it and blow his brains out. He really thought that I could kill him with the shell. Just to be sadistic I made him sit under his seat for the rest of the ride home. Needless to say he found out how stupid he was. I walked home everyday until he dropped out.

I don't know, maybe he walked in and it was Chow Yun Fat in a trench coat, and he placed a single 9mm with some Chinese Kanji written on it on the table in front of the manager. I would have surrendered too.

If you haven't go rent Replacement Killers.

I heard a comedian talk about being held-up by someone holding a booger on the end of his finger(not that it really happened-just for laughs). I wonder if that would work with some people.

Seems to me the MMM award should go to the manager for handing over the money. The thug gets honorable mention.
