Price Check: large pistol primers

Okay, we know there is a shortage of primers and that has had an effect on the price but I just have to ask since I need large pistol primers.

1. Pre-Obama: What was the "normal" price for 1000 Winchester large pistol primers?

2. Post-Obama: What are y'all paying per 1000 large pistol primers now?

Here in Texas the price has been pretty stable pre & post Obamanation.
In the range of $32.00 - 36.00 per 1K
Now there are gougers out there but most places are in this range.
Nothing like 5 years ago though!
back then I was paying $25.00 - 28.00 per 1k.

From what I have been able to discern is ammo manufacturers are making more money on loaded ammo than on individual components. Although most manufactures are saying by summers end the tight supply should be coming to an end.
Texas - Not just a state but an attitude!

Three years ago I was paying around $20 per 1000. Three months ago I bought a case at $26 per 1000.

I was told at the last show here in Portland, OR one guy wanted $130 per/1k for small rifle primers. Hang him.
