?'s RE: 1920's German 7.65 mm Ortgie - Deutsche Werke Mfg...
Hi,
I am completely new to this and know NOTHING about guns, but recently an antique pistol was passed along to me and I was looking to gain some information about it. All I know is it has: CAL 7.65 m/m engraved on one side and the other side has: Ortgies Patent deuteche werke aktiengengesellschaft werk erfurt engraved on it. Engraved Underneath the barrel is a number, I think it was 41800 or something like that. The handle is metal, but has a wood panel-like piece with a symbol or emblem on it. I would like to know more about this item and it's history and value. Any information is appreciated. I Have included a photo as well. Thank you for your help. |
