Homeland Security Warning
According to an article on Fox News the Department of Homeland Security has issued a warning including concern about gun and ammo purchases. Exerps below:
"The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement agencies that recent news is helping "right-wing extremist groups" recruit new members and could lead to violence, and warns about the possible recruitment and radicalization of returning veterans. The report, issued last week, is part of an ongoing review of extremists on both ends of the political spectrum. Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of right-wing extremist groups ... The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by right-wing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement," the report says." The full assessment is available here: http://www.thelibertypapers.org/wp-c...m-09-04-07.pdf
It is an insult to all citizens, especially veterans. This is truly scary in that this is the intel that is going TO the White House and police departments U.S. wide. And WE all fit the "profile"! |

This is not news.
It has been on the wires and internet since Sunday, Apr 12, at least. We already know about it. Those few of us who don't know about it can read about it at news sites around the net, such as these: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=94803 http://www.reuters.com/article/topNe...rpc=22&sp=true http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...cals-on-right/ ... not to mention FOX News. Closed. Not appropriate for General Discussion forum ... maybe L&CR, but you will have to take the alarmism out of your post and start a bona fide discussion. Maybe a call to action rather than an announcement? |
