Glock will be the softest shooting of any of the 10 mm's, so don't let recoil scare you away from them. The 1911's may be a little more accurate but I voted with my dollars by purchasing the Glock 20.

Glock. For the obvious reasons.

I'm a poor college student, so the EAA witness (elite match $600ish). If I crashed a major corporation and got billions of taxpayer dollars for free, I'd spring for the Delta Elite or a custom 1911. All social commentary aside, I really love 1911s, but they seem to cost a crap ton more than other auto pistols.

Colt

Already have a Delta Elite and a Glock 29 and now Colt brings back the Delta in stainless. I'm kinda hoping I don't see one, because I'll probably throw money down on it and the boss will be upset.

Just buy a Glock 20 and about 5 extra mags. That should make you real happy/ " Glock Perfection"

I would not rule out one of the S&W revolvers in .10mm.

None: already have at least two of each category.
Would like a good carbine, though. Current ones
available don't qualify.

Glock Baby!!

If I were in the market for a 10mm again (I used to own a G29), I'd go for the 29SF.

I was going to pick up a Smith & Wesson Night Guard 310 but they're not available yet in my area as far as I know. Think I'm going to pick up a Glock SF 20 tomorrow. I can't wait to join the 10mm club!

Wow, lots of mixed results. I will probably shoot different manafacturers guns and figure out what my price range is, so that I can make an informed decision. Thanks for all of the input and personal testimonies of your your guns.Todd

I just sold my Kimber Eclipse 10mm (too pretty to throw in a holster), so I'm now in the market for a new one since I still have about 600 rounds of 10mm out in the garage. I'm torn between a used blued Delta Elite or a Glock 20SF. If Colt comes out with the new Delta Elite in blue, I'm sold.

Buy the Rampant Pony if you want it to always hold its value.

Oh you don't need to do that. We'll take that ammo off your hands.

I love them all. I started with a GLock 29 and became hooked. Check the fit of the grip size to your hands. Now that the G20 & G29 are avialable in the SF version I think that will open up the double stack 10mm to more people.

See, I have and carry a G29, but I think I'd be happy to swap it for a G29 that held, say, 6 rounds, in a single stack magazine, if the darn pistol (and I mean the whole thing, slide as well) were thinner for concealed carry IWB.

Although I am not a huge fan of 10mm due to high recoil if I had to pick it would be a Glock since that is the only one I have used in person. Perhaps if I shot the others my opinion would change.
