Colt Rifle?
Hi: Last week at a public sale I saw a single shot 22 magnum rifle, very plain wood stock marked COLT, the bolt looked like a ANSCHUTZ, anyone have any ideas who may have made it?

The "Colteer I-11" standard catalog of fireams 5th edition page 213
this single shot bolt-action rifle chambered for .22 l.r. or .22 Magnum. It has a plain uncheckered walnut stock, 20" barrel, and adjustible sights. There were approximatly 50,000 manufactured between 1957 and 1966. EXC. V.G. Good Fair Poor 250 200 175 125 90 There is no notation as to who made them. Tom F. |
