German Revolver

A friend of mine asked me to clean her revolver. I have never seen or heard of this make. It's a .22 short with about a 2 inch bbl.
It is made in Germany and has the following markings on it.
Gerstenberger u. eberwein
Gussenstadt
Made in Germany.
I'm assuming it's pre wwII as it is marked Germany, not East or West Germany.
Does anyone have knowledge of this gun?
Thanks.
Mickey

Found this info with some pics of a gun like it ----- The pistol was manufactured by Gerstenberger & Eberwein of Gussenstadt, West Germany. Gerstenberger & Eberwein manufactured of a line of cheap handguns that were sold in the USA in the late 1950's and early 1960' s prior to the Gun Control Act of 1968. + http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...m=91443123#PIC + http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u...babydaddy2003/ Google - Gerstenberger & Eberwein and u should find more info.

Gerstenberger & Eberwein - Gerstenberger u. Eberwein - Moritz & Gerstenberger - Omega - EM-GE are some of the names/markings the company used. I found the site for the company (they still make starter + signal pistols) LINK --- http://www.emge-online.de/allgemein/index2.htm
