KNOXX COMPSTOCK vs VANG COMP SAFETY

I've read that these two are incompatible in an 870 is there any way to make them work ,like to keep both .

Knoxx has always maintained that the only large button safety which will work with the SpecOps or the COPstock is Scattergun Technologies version. Any modification of the safety area on the Knoxx stock would void their warranty, so I doubt many have tried to modify it.
