Wish I could see.....

....the look on the journalists face!

Ted Nugent, Rock star and avid bow hunter was being interviewed by a French journalist and the discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, "Are you my friend?" or is it "Are you the one who killed my brother?" or "Why do you do this thing of killing just for sport?"

Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, "What am I going to eat next, who am I going to scr&w next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are in many ways, very much like the French."

That's really funny.

How we behave as gun owners is important. Posturing and threatening does not serve us well in the public eye.

Imagine Ted as the Ambassidor to France. Maybe then they will get the gumption to do something other than talk you to death or retreat. France; naaa, nope, nada, zip, zero.

That's so awesome, I can't even put it into words.

The perfect gun is the one you have when someone is firing their perfect gun in your direction

Ever heard the saying "faster than a French border guard with a coupon for free ciagrettes."
I love the smell of fresh shotgun in the morning.

I hope that actually happened.

He said it, but not exactly as the OP describes.

And this is being moved to The Hunt.
