Any tax per bullet is off target. It's a liberal solution searching for a problem.

bullets differ in price so much, needs to be a percent to make it plausible,
what about reloaders? tax the lead?

Expecting politicians to refrain from stupidity is like expecting the sun to rise on the west side of the sky. I seriously doubt he has any other intention of driving away business from bullet sales, which is sadly a lot of liberals' goals.

Remindes me of the idea to ban .22, .32, and 9mm because that was "what the majority of criminals used." They both make the same amount of sense...namley, zero.
