Scopes, country of origen?

I'm in the market for a hangun scope. I went shopping for one today
and was really surprised by what I found. I found nikons made in the
phillapenes (surprised I would of thought japan. Bushnells made in japan
(would have bet $ on china with the glued on turret Weavers
made in japan ect..

I'm not really a made in the usa nut but chinese and korean junk really turns me off. Japan, USA, and some Euro stuff is good. I'm curiouse about swift scopes the price seems almost to good to be true. I have some swift
bi-nocs that are made in japan and are exellant. But really old.
