Macho!!!
My landlady where we used to live had a beautiful dog, named MACHO!! He got that name b/c the breeder was from spain, and when they went to pick up the dog they asked if they would be getting a boy or a girl, and the breeder replied "Macho". And so the name stuck...
He was a wonderful dog, bright, obedient, protective, powerful. I always loved that name for a dog, and I think it would fit perfectly for this dog too!! |

Indian dog? How about Ojibwa-the famous Native American who played an extremely significant role in the Native American civil rights movement and founder of AIM-American Indian Movement. Just throwin it out there.

Roy Rogers had the right idea with a dog named Bullet and a horse named Trigger.
OK, he's not a horse, Rich, but I'll bet he eats like a horse. Glad you found a keeper.

pup names
I read that these dogs are bred as cattle working dogs, and the Dagger suggestion made me think of the African Buff hunt, so my suggestion is
Dugga Boy. Nice dog, real fiesty looking. |

My ridgeback is named Colt.

How about Bowie.
Either as in, Jim Bowie, or as in David Bowie, the singer, supposedly he has one blue and one brown eye too.

You could always get Louis to name him for you. He would probably come up with something creative like . . . Dog.
Louis' eloquent that way. |

Gringo it is.
There are way too many good suggestions here to mention them all. Free 1 year Subscription Trials go to: - Adventurer 2 for Terra Fuego (you have no idea how close I came to stealing that or a variation) - George F for Rooster Cogburn - Scrap 5000 for sheer exuberance and, umm, Volume! Email me your addies at [email protected] Your first issue will be Jan 2007, shipping the first week of December. Thanks all. Rich

I WIN??!!! I WIN??!!! WOOO-HOO!!!! SOOOOO HAPPPY!!!
I'd like to thank all those who helped me come up with ideas, as I will gladly share my subscription issues with them...um, once I have thoroughly read them from cover to cover & ripped out any pages I find necessary to save...and to my family for teaching me never to give up, no matter how serious the obstacles and hurdles faced...and to all the dogs I have known thru the years...Macho, Cocoa, Beegee, Nicky, I salute you! |
