Smith Scope mount for M1A Oppinions Wanted

Anybody using a Smith Enterprise scope mount on their M1A ? I have a SA 3rd Gen. mount and find it to be too high, I have also tried the A.R.M.S. #18 mount which is plenty low enough but the rail doesn't go far enough forward. The photo of the Smith mount on their web site looks like it would work but I would like an oppinion from somebody that has actually used one before I order one. Any information would be appreciated.
