Ithica what model?

When I was a young office on the Tampa Police Department in 1967 we, like other cities, had riots. At the time the department didn't have shotguns or anything else for riot control. I went to a pawn shop and bought a Ithica double barrel 12 gage shotgun for $45.00. It had a home made stock on it and now I'd like to find the one that goes on it. As far as I can tell it has no model number on it unless it is the "34" before the serial number. The serial number is 34 3808. I would really love to know what it is. It says Ithica Gun Company on it and it says smokeless powder etc.. Anyone have any ideas? If so thanks in advance ....

Without more ID info, it's going to be tough to identify just which model it is.

Ithaca made a number of double guns over the years.

Here's a link to Gun Parts Corporation. They sell many parts for the various Ithaca doubles, and possibly you can ID which model it is with the exploded views.

Best guess is, it's a Model 100, 200E, 280, 0r 400.
All these are basically the same gun so stocks may interchange.

If everything else fails, contact Gun Parts for help in IDing it. You can also send them the stock you have as a sample.

Here's other sources of Ithaca parts:

I think you are right. Mine looks like those in the parts break down. It seem that all you listed have the same stock. I saw some of these stocks on Ebay this morning. Thanks again, you've been a tremendous help .... Thanks again ...

And is an SKB the same thing as a 100/200 etc? One is listed on Ebay as an SKB stock for 100's and 200's ... ???

I don't think so.
Ithaca imported the SKB shotguns, but I'm fairly sure the stocks or any other parts don't interchange.

I "Think" the SKB/Ithaca guns were single barrel guns, not side-by-side.

In any event, I'm sure the stocks won't fit your gun.
