Are you sure it is a single shot?

Look at the markings on the gun for a model num and anyother markings on the gun.

Didn't Ruger make a single shot pistol that looked like a revolver in .256cal? Called the Hawkeye?? Quantrill

Quantrill, the Ruger Hawkeye Single-Shot was made from 1963-1964. About 3,300 were made and all were chambered in .256 Win. Mag.
