Best book

There are many books on "stopping power" out there and I want to know which is the best to read. I've seen many books by marshall+snow (i think thats his last name, cant remember exactly ) but heard that they have little authority on the subject. Anyone recommend a source, book or internet publishing, that gives good info on what bullets have performed the best, stopping power in general, and how to survive a gunfight.

It's Evan Marshall and Ed Sanow if I am not mistaken. Yes their work is controversial.

You can check out Evan Marshall at and you can check out their detractors at

"Half of being smart is knowing what you are dumb at"

"Guns shoot bullets.
People shoot people."

"Sharpening the Warrior's Edge"
Great book for gunfighting, and handling stressful encounters
"Out of every ONE HUNDRED men, TEN should not be here, EIGHTY are nothing but targets, NINE are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they the battle make. Ah, but the ONE, ONE of them is a WARRIOR, and he will bring the others back."
