.44 Mag Target load.

this is 7.5 Unique , Dry Creek 255 Ballisticast and magnum Cases. The same load does up over 900 in .44 special cases from a 6.5" Barrel. From the 4" Mountain gun Velocity was 863;energy 422 ft lbs; spread over five rounds was 72 fps. I shot it at 25 yards two handed double action ( shown) and single action at 50 yards. Mild recoil -pretty close to what I feel with the corbon 165 grain bullet at 1300

.44 Mag Target load

.44 Mag Target load [with a 240 grain JHP].
10.2 grains of UNIQUE is my standard "hot" load.
5.0 grains of UNIQUE is my PPC load and, it is accurate.

that unique is versitile iddn't? I use 10 grains with a variety of 240-250 grain bullets and they usually do somewhere in the 1100s regardless of barrel length.
the above one i checked out because somebody asked about magnum target loads. Can't find his post on any of the boards now.

7.3 grains of Universal and a 240 grain lead SWC.

Sub 3" groups at 50 yards! Nice smooth shooting practice round.
