1911 grips...

Does anyone know where I can get a set of cheap 1911 wooden grips. They dont have to be anything special, but wood would be nice.

Go to Ebay, Sporting Goods section, do a search "1911 grips". You'll get all kinds of hits, from walnut to cocobolo to smart, you could probably get a nice sent for under twenty bucks.

Try Sarco, Inc, they show inexpensive (well, perhaps cheap) double diamond stocks for the 1911 in their print ads.
If it ain't metal, single stack & single action, it ain't a 1911 no matter what it looks like.
