Me personally think muzzle widgets are a total waste of money on 223/5.56.

Except when shooting 3Gun. Makes a different. Thats why shooters use them.

MrGuns&gear notes that an A2 reduces muzzle rise notably and I can't really argue with the price.

I use nothing but a thread protector on my rimfire AR because I tested devices and found accuracy degraded with everything but the thread protector. For my next cnterfire AR build, I might try that.
