When you log in, there's a small box on the log-in screen that's labeled something like "Remember Me." If you don't check that box, the vBulletin software monitors your activity and prohibits you from posting if it sees you as having been inactive for too long.

If you can post here, you can post anywhere else on the board with one possible exception.
There is one set of subforums with special posting restrictions. There's a sticky thread at the top of each of those subforums which explains the issue. They are titled something like the following: "GUN SHOW RULES - All must read before posting in this forum"
