I have one of those, too.

They raised the prices of membership and since I didn't think it was worth getting one (since I don't have much free time) I just went with one of those non-member cards.

I'm pretty sure they don't have an expiration.

Philly Armory show tomorrow. It looks like a small one but it's the last one before the shoot.

I'm going Sunday.

I still have a ton of stuff to sell and I have some unidentified rifle mags. Hopefully I'll come home with some cash..... for once.

I went this afternoon. It was a decent show. Bought some 16 ga. specific cleaning stuff and a new sling for the M1A. I need someone with some rubics-cube skills to show me how to thread this military sling though!

Saw some really nice model 12's & a whole bunch more SxS's than I've seen in a long time.

There was one jackass trying to sell an unmarked full capacity Glock 19 mag for fifty bucks. Tried to tell me that it was illegal to buy the LE-marked mags and if I had any, I had to turn them in. I hate unscrupulous/ignorant dealers.
He had come to this conclusion because "they" came to another show and asked that the dealers remove them from the tables. I was annoyed :barf: but I got over it.

Six bucks to get in and small enough to do without carrying your lunch and oxygen.

I`m pretty well stocked up on blasting ammo now except for a few calibers. I picked up a case of assorted size clay pigeons too. They should make fun targets especially way out there at 200+yds. Hope the weather plays along. Is this a rain or shine event? Marcus

I am going to bring a couple of folding tables for myself and my stuff as usual. I have found that we need a LOT more tables and chairs than there are available at the range! If you have a sturdy folding table or two or three, please consider bringing it or them and a chair or two.

Yep!

I picked up two folding stocks for my Mini 14's so I'll pose with one of them in the group photo.

I can bring some chairs...no table though....

So...target wise...can we use spinner targets and those clay target stands?

No metal targets.

I assume those spinner targets are metal?

What are the clay target stands?

Anything that isn't going to trash the range or make a bullet bounce off in another directions is, Ok.

Anyone have any more questions?

Yeah, the spinners are metal...guess I'll have to wait till I can get back down to VA to try them out.

The clay target holders are basically just a post that goes in the ground with a "U" shaped top that cradles a clay. Lets you have that satisfaction of watching the clay explode

For anyone bringing an FAL.....I've got 160 rounds of the Aussie .308 that I bought in prep for getting an STG58a. The wife's 1911 took priority over that project, but if anyone is willing, I'd like to put a few rounds through your FAL to try it on for size.

I'll have with me:

HK USP9
SA Mil-Spec 1911
Yugo SKS
SA Garand
Bushmaster HBAR (maybe)
maybe an assortment of .22s

If P95Carry is still coming, I'll be too busy drooling over his seemingly endless goodies to get to my own

I will be bringing a bunch of Glock and/or Sig holsters from Alessi, Waldon & Sidearmor. If your shopping for a holster and want to actually see and test, these will be available. They are NOT for sale but for trial. BYOB (Bring your own Belt). These are mostly made for 1.25" belts.

I bought some of those import M1A mags from ammoman.com and I will be testing those as my priority while I am at W&W although I am only bringing about 270 rounds of 308 Port.
I will be bringing a Marlin 336 ('56 vintage) and several different weights of 30-30 to test as well.

I will also have a few pistols, Glocks mostly with a Sig 228 thrown in for Soda. Anyone want to try a Kahr P9C?

I will have a couple Shotguns as well as I am always up for some clay huntin'.

I doubt I'll bring any .22's this trip.

I'd like to shoot a Glock 21 if anyone has one.

Sadly The Lovely Mrs. 9mmMike will not be joining us this weekend. Maybe she'll let me borrow her guns though.

See ya,

Mike

If anyone has Heinie Straight Eight sights installed on a handgun, I'd like to try it out and compare it with my XS Sights. I would also like to try out a Glock 21, to compare with my new Glock 17. I have one of the new Blackhawk CQC holsters for the Glock, which is pretty cool.

I'm bringing:
DSA StG-58 FAL
Bushmaster Superlight AR15 w/bells & whistles
Marlin Papoose
Glock 17
CZ 75B and/or SIG P220 (both with XS 24/7 Express Sights)
Kahr PM9
maybe SIG P220ST

...and that's probably it, since I mostly want to shoot rifles.

I don't know if it's been covered here on what to bring ? They use shipping pallets to hang targets on.

Staple gun( lots of staples)
Targets (they only sell 100yd site in targets)
Ammo (they do sell shotgun shells and clay pigions)

They also don't any tables and only a couple rifle racks at the rifle range.

I'll try to get more photos up.

Dave Park- are you still bringing the FAL stuff that you wanted to sell me ? I'm still interested in it.

I'll have my DSA STG58 with me but it'll be stripped down to iron sights since I'm waiting for a new shipement of ACOGs to come in.

mikepenn,

Thanks for the pictures.....looks like a nice place.

Thanks also for the heads up on what to bring.....you read my mind about my question on whether we needed to bring target frames and backerboard. Glad I didn't buy any today.

Does the range provide sand bags or do we need to bring our own rests? Our local range provides bags so I've never shot off of my rest....guess I'll find out how it feels.

For anyone near a Dick's Sporting Goods......good ammo sale this week. .45 ACP UMC is 9.99 a box/50.

Galyans has WWB 9mm for 4.99/50

Norton, there are no sandbags provided, so you should probably bring your own. I wouldn't count on having enough people bring some so you could borrow theirs, so to be safe I'd bring one. Can't wait to meet you all tomorrow!!! And judging on the weather reports I've seen, some rain gear to be safe, there's really not alot of cover if the skies open up on us...
