hodgdon's site shows 2940 with a 150 gn bullet using imr 7977.

Don't think I have that either--but I did recently buy 4 lbs of 6.5 staball which is supposed to be good for the 270 win--though I don't know of any load data listed.

PS: scratch that, I found some on Winchester's site; Hodgdon even more. Duh.

I'll look into it. I just discovered I have "regular" 7828 but no short cut.

Hodgdon site has data for it. That 6.5 staball will give you another 100 fps if its accurate in your rifle.

Yes, I found it. I've been a little leery of Hogdon's data lately, I'm encountering loads that QL tells me are over-powered.
