How do I remove duck plug form 870?
I just bought an older used 870. I noticed it only holds 2 rounds in the mag.....how do I remove the duck plug? I tried to search but found no info.
Thanks |

Unscrew the cap on the magazine.(the one that holds the barrel on) Carefully pry the split cap under it, carefull the spring inside will launch it. Take out plug, mine was plastic & green. Reasemble in revese order.
Due to legal issues I cut a pensil to replace mine. To remove, take cap off and shake out pensil. It's quick and easy. |
