"instinct above distraction."

"for those who rely on instinct above distraction."
Apparently SA's new slogan for their new line of guns. I have developed some of the most advanced tactics, respected wordwide, for ordering Chinese take-out, but I'm just not at that level with firearms. What exactly does relying on instinct above distraction mean? How does this apply to my firearms tactics?

Has SA outsourced their marketing to a Chinese company and failed to proofread the Chinglish returned?

Is SA actually diversifying their portfolio with a new line of "bath salts" labeled Saint? If so, I have to say this marketing campaign is genius, as I'm definitely wondering what they are on.

Suspecting a little gun with barely any sights to speak of.

They needed a whole new line of pistols for that?

Just remove the rear sight and file the front.

They are probably going to sell like crazy though.

Sounds right to me. Sights are a distraction when you don't need them, and if you can draw and put a bullet through a guy's gullet on instinct, well, sights are nothing but a distraction.

Maybe they have created the gun that fits perfectly and will never fail.

I once read a science fiction story that involved a new gun that worked on a psychic level. Put your hand near the holster and it would automatically jump into your hand and it would fire when you thought "fire."

Are you thinking of the Death World trilogy?

Are you thinking of the Death World trilogy?

In those books the people lived on a planet where everything from plants to animals was lethal and hostile.

The guns were on a spring/motor assembly strapped to their forearm,,,
All they had to do was learn to "want" the gun in their hand,,,
It would fly out into their palm ready for use.

Way back in time I actually tried to make one for a costume to wear at a sci-fi convention.

Hey,,,
I was young.

I THINK that it was "The Weapons Shop of Isher."

Bad future, invincible shop that provides weapons to people in need. The Weapons are literally magical. Can only be used in defense, can't miss, etc.

It's an allegory for the second amendment. Van Vogt was one of the golden age champions. It ought to be read if a person likes old time st, or is interested in speculation about a very strange future.

Kindle on Amazon for $4.
