Rock Island 1911 parts?

Hello I recently purchased a bare bones RI 1911. It's the full size combat model, so far it's been amazing, zero problems, shoots great, great accuracy. But with it being the combat model, it comes with cheap iron sights and everything is just plain steel. (It's being cerakoted as we speak. burnt bronze) Does anyone know where I can find some good night sights that fit the RI and I'm also looking to replace the hammer, barrel bushing and trigger with either stainless or aluminum pieces and I'm having a hard time sourcing them. What other manufactures parts will fit this gun? Any help would be awesome, there is a lot of info out there but digging out the good stuff is slow goin. Thanks guys

You did not include pictures of your new gun. However, I looked up the RI 1911 Combat Model on the INTERNET and it appears that the sights are of a standard Novak cut. If that be so, then the sights you seek can be had from Brownell's and other sorces...they are not Rock Island proprietary parts. To be sure, do a search on "Novak sight cut", and compare the cut in the slide to yours.

The sights are not Novak. Dawson Precision makes sights to fit the Rocks. https://www.dawsonprecision.com/ General 1911 parts will fit the Rocks but like any other 1911 will most likely need minor fitting.
