Thank you for the charts. I run a small gun shop in western NC. These will be saved and shown to customers who are trying to make an informed decision. Thank you for putting that much time into such a project.

Not to be critical, but wouldn't it help keep things straight if one gun was on one side and the other on the other side of each page? Or was that done purposefully?

Greetings, spacecoast.

The handgun images are placed on the chart in "x" form in order to maintain the exact side of the handgun in the Chart. In order to keep the handguns in the same column, I would need to locate and then scale a left AND righ-side image per handgun.

Exact handgun images featuring both profile sides [left and right-sides] are hard to locate.

I hope I made a little sense in my explanation.

Los. Great job. Very informative. I didn't do this much research when I bought my LCP.

THANKS again, guyzz.

It's become somewhat of a hobby for me.

FYI, I intend to start making Comparison Charts featuring some of the most popular subcompact 45acp semi-automatic pistols in current production. And just for grins, I'll do a few featuring those no longer in production such as the legendary diminutive sized Semmerling LM4, AMT 45 Backup, and the original Detonics Combat Master.

Be looking out for the Thread in the near future.

Los's charts as a sticky....

The charts Los makes should be a sticky. They are SO helpful when looking what gun to buy. I had to search through all of his posts to find the one I wanted.

I agree with the last poster, please make these charts a sticky. They are great for comparing size and weight, and with all the CCW's out there alot of people are concerned with the specs. I have only been a member of this forum for a short time and it seems like every week someone starts a thread "LC9 vs. PF9, P3AT vs. LCP vs. Bodyguard....
And Los almost always posts a comparison chart and its probably one he has post several times. Seems like it would be easier to just make a sticky with a title like "Los's handgun comparison charts" or something like that.
BTW thanks Los for all the charts. When you have a tough time deciding on a handgun, those charts can make the decision much easier.

THANKS yung gunr and Uprangewilly. I appreciate your kind words very much and I'm very glad the Charts have been helpful. THAT's what it's all about..!

My Comparison Charts have evolved somewhat since I originally started this Thread. They are now being made in the following format and configuration.

You do great work Los! If I lived alone, I'd have them blown up into posters and cover the walls of my "man cave" with them. Unfortunately, I'm married, and I share my "man cave" with the ironing board and dirty clothes hamper.

I have been tempted to use an occasional copy of various charts of yours, to prove a point on other forums. I didn't, and wouldn't without permission. I would certainly give accreditation, as due. I have seen one of yours on another site without accreditation, but a subsequent poster paid you your due.

Glad to see your work, with it's own tab, on mouseguns.com.

Thanks for your efforts!!!

Nice work, but I'm curious about something.

Why did you measure height differently on the NAA Guardian and the S&W Bodyguard?

Thanks and excellent question.

First of all, all specifications were/are gathered from manufacture based sites. Therefore, all handgun images were/are rendered to manufacture specifications.

The Smith Bodyguard 380 has a listed height that includes the [standard issue] finger-extended magazine that is shown on the subject image.

The NAA Guardian 380 has a listed height that is measured from the bottom of a factory "flat-base" magazine, which is standard issue. As you are aware, the image I used for rendering has the optional finger extended magazine base.

Therefore, the bottom reference line was placed on the NAA image to accurately obtain the manufacture height specification, which is measured with a flat-base magazine.

May I ask for one between the PM9 and the Kimber Solo?

I am considering selling my LCP and replacing it with a Kahr P380. Your comparison gives me more impetus to do so.
